1614310 ONTARIO INC. CONTRACT EXTENTION
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute an amending agreement with 1614310 Ontario Inc. to
extend consulting services on the Corporate Financial and Infrastructure Management System (Delta)
Project from January 1, 2010 to March 12, 2010 at an estimated cost of $37,485 plus GST; said
agreement to be satisfactory to the City Solicitor.
BACKGROUND:
The City entered into a contract with 1614310 Ontario Inc. for project management services for the Delta
Project in February 2008. In December 2008, Council approved an extension to the original agreement
which is set to expire December 31,2009
REPORT:
The two major software applications forming part of the Delta Project (SAP and Cityworks) have been in
production since December 1, 2008. In 2009 a work program was launched to complete a number of
activities which did not form part of system implementation but were envisioned in the business case and
the project charter. The activities included but were not limited to:
· resolving system issues after go live
· completion of the asset accounting (PSAB 3150) implementation
· completion of SAP/RIVA configuration
· develop business system support and administration process
The Project's Joint Steering Committee is recommending that the contract be extended to March 12,
2010. This extension will ensure all required tasks are completed in order to comply with the legislated set
accounting (PSAB 3150) requirements for the 2009 financial reports.

FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
The contract extension for the project management consulting services is funded from the approved
capital budget for the Delta Project.
